Job Title: GP Pharmacist

We are seeking an experienced GP Pharmacist to join our team, providing clinical pharmacy leadership and support to general practice teams.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing clinical pharmacy leadership and support to general practice teams. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing clinical pharmacy leadership and support to general practice teams
  • Developing and implementing clinical pharmacy services to improve patient care
  • Working closely with GP partners and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient services
  • Leading and training less experienced pharmacy professionals to proactively manage repeat prescribing systems and deal with acute prescription requests
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience with at least 2 years in General Practice
  • Certificate in Non-medical prescribing
  • Experience of using prescribing qualification in General Practice
  • Evidence of further education in clinical pharmacy, e.g. Completion of NHS Pathway Training for Practice Pharmacists or a Clinical Pharmacy Diploma
