Senior Estates and Capital Strategist

Finegreen is seeking a highly skilled Senior Estates and Capital Strategist to join their team in the Midlands. As the most senior appointment within the Estates, Facilities and Capital Planning Directorate, this role is a key opportunity for a motivated professional to shape the future of the Trust's estate and capital strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading the Way: Develop and deliver the Trust's Estate and Capital Strategy, creating policies and procedures that drive effective service delivery.

Communication Expertise: Communicate complex information with stakeholders, including Modern Matrons, Ward Managers, Heads of Departments, Medical and Nursing staff, Department of Health Estates Advisors, and external agencies.

Management and Leadership: Directly manage a multidisciplinary maintenance department, ensuring high-performance maintenance and compliance with recommended standards and legislation.

Technical Expertise: Oversee complex engineering plant, equipment, and services throughout the NHS Trust and other properties.

Programme Management: Review and update planned maintenance programmes to ensure prioritization and compliance with engineering infrastructure and capital requirements.

Professional Development: Provide specialist information to assist the Estates Information Office in completing statutory returns, enabling the Trust to benchmark its estates performance nationally.

Professional Membership: Maintain membership of a relevant professional body, such as the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), Institute of Engineers and Technicians (IET), Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management (IHEEM), RICS, and/or RIBA.

Salary: The salary for this role is estimated to be around £80,000-£100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
