Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant at an ambitious school for children and young people with profound, severe, and complex needs.

About the Role:
  • Support students with profound, severe, and complex needs in a dynamic and inclusive environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Provide personal care and support to students as needed, including toileting and moving and handling.
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery, and contribute to the development of a positive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Professional and caring individual with a good understanding of safeguarding and working with vulnerable children.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to use your own initiative.
  • Comfortable with personal care and moving and handling, including the use of hoists.
  • Experience working within SEN or with children is beneficial but not essential.
