Job Title: Patient Safety Incident Response Framework Implementation Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Patient Safety Incident Response Framework Implementation Specialist to join our Governance and Quality Assurance Team at Brainkind. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and embedding the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF) at Brainkind.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Delivering, implementing, and embedding the PSIRF proportionate to a charitable independent health and social care organisation.
  • Supporting safety improvement by ensuring that systems thinking, human factors understanding, and just culture principles are embedded in the PSIRF at Brainkind.
  • Ensuring leadership is central to the delivery of all PSIRF activities by developing organisational understanding of PSIRF.
  • Working collaboratively to provide PSIRF expertise to key stakeholders to ensure awareness, understanding, and delivery of the Patient Safety Incident Response Plan.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience of working in a patient safety role with an understanding of approaches to improving patient safety.
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or equivalent senior experience in a Health & Social care related field.
  • Expertise in successfully delivering projects or project management qualification such as PRINCE2 or Agile methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of statutory requirements for the Health & Social Care sector, including health and social care regulations and guidance.
