We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Civil Maritime Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in shaping our exciting projects and contributing to the success of our clients.

About the Role

As a Principal Civil Maritime Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team to undertake technical design work, managing time and budgets, and working closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions. You will also be responsible for adhering to quality assurance standards and ensuring that all design work meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes.
  • Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
  • Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
  • Experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design within the port and maritime environment.
  • Sound knowledge in the civil and structural design of port and maritime infrastructure supporting port operations, the berthing and mooring of vessels, and the transit of people and goods around the globe.
  • Working experience with current UK and European design standards, including BS6349.
