Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Finance Assistant to support our Finance function by preparing monthly management accounts, managing company credit cards, and overseeing the staff expenses process. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective partnerships.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage company credit cards and the staff expenses process, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, manage cash book transactions, and assist in the month-end process.
  • Analyse overheads, compare actual spending to budgets, and liaise with managers on financial insights.
  • Support costing activities, stock control, VAT compliance, and year-end statutory accounts preparation.
Requirements
  • Part-qualified accountant (CIMA or equivalent) with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, inquisitive nature.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective partnerships.
