Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Our client, a dynamic and forward-thinking manufacturing company, is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join their finance team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in preparing and calculating month-end journals, including prepayments, accruals, and deferred income. Your responsibilities will include preparing Management Accounts for several limited companies within the Group, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the Profit & Loss packs and balance sheet reconciliations. You will also be responsible for capitalising assets, running depreciation, and managing extensive intercompany transactions and reconciliations. Additionally, you will assist with the Group VAT return and payment process and support the Head of Finance with various ad hoc projects.

Requirements

  • Part or fully qualified ACCA/CIMA or QBE, with AAT qualification as a minimum
  • Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise workload, and work to deadlines
  • High level of attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Experience using Sage Line 50 is preferred
  • At least five years of experience working in accounts, with a minimum of three years producing Management Accounts
