Job Description

We are recruiting for an Adult Mental Health Consultant to provide senior support and leadership to ward-based staff in managing psychiatric emergencies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatry and excellent communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Conduct comprehensive Psychiatric Assessments and provide treatment plans for inpatients on the ward.
  2. Lead Multidisciplinary ward reviews, CPA reviews, and multi-professional meetings, as well as carry out Risk Assessments and participate in Trust's risk management processes.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £90,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

  • MRCPsych or equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists
