About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and structured individual to join our team as a Sales Coordinator Assistant. This is a temporary full-time position based in Ashington, with a possibility of extension.

The role involves supporting the Test & Calibration team by ensuring an efficient back-office system for customer instrument traceability. This includes raising quotations, following up on contracted work, managing open orders, and liaising with colleagues and a remote finance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quotations: Raise quotations in timely fashion for various services, including In House, On Site, Delivery & Collections, Repairs, and Sub-Contract work.
  • Contracted Work: Follow up on contracted work from 3rd parties to ensure timely completion.
  • Customer Purchase Orders: Follow up on customer purchase orders for repair & calibration work.
  • Open Order Backlog: Manage the open order backlog to ensure it remains up-to-date.
  • Calibration Software: Manage customer records in our calibration software.
  • Liaison: Liaise with in-house colleagues and a remote finance team.
  • New Business Development: Work closely with the Head of Lab on new sales business development initiatives.
Requirements
  • Sales Administration: Proven experience in sales administration.
  • Customer Service: High-level customer service skills.
  • Sales: Strong sales skills.

Estimated Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
