Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Special Educational Needs Support Assistant to join our team. As a Care Support Worker, you will work alongside teachers and other professionals to provide a safe and supportive learning environment for students with a range of special educational and behavioural needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized support to students with special educational needs
  • Assist with personal care where necessary
  • Work under the direction of the class teacher to deliver high-quality support
  • Support the delivery of lessons in line with National Curriculums
  • Manage challenging behaviour and provide intervention support

Requirements:

  • 6 months' experience supporting adults or young people with additional needs
  • Calm and caring demeanor, with a positive outlook on life
  • Resilience and ability to commit to 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday (term-time only)
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered or willing to apply
