Support Assistant for Young People with Special Needs

This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary of £83 - £100 per day, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be based at an SEN Secondary School in Redditch, working closely with the SENCO to achieve EHCP outcomes and provide tailored support to students.

Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and facilitating group activities and workshops that promote social skills, emotional well-being, and independence.
- Working closely with the SENCO to achieve EHCP outcomes and provide tailored support to students.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of SEN and experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
- An Enhanced Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one.
- Relevant qualifications in youth work, social work, education, or a related field.
