Job Title: Trauma Care Professional

Location: University Hospital of Llandough, Cardiff

About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Trauma Care Professional to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert care to patients who have experienced trauma or acute injuries, working closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and manage patients who have experienced trauma or acute injuries.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies to improve patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Nursing or relevant healthcare discipline.
  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Proven experience in trauma care or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
