About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Care and Support Professional to join our team at Care Managers Ltd.

Job Description

As a Senior Care and Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes. You will work closely with our care managers to develop and implement care plans that meet each client's individual needs and preferences.

You will supervise and support a team of care workers, providing guidance and training as needed. Your role will involve conducting regular assessments of clients' needs and making necessary adjustments to their care plans.

You will also liaise with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best possible care for our clients. Additionally, you will administer medication as prescribed and maintain accurate records.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring all care workers are following company policies and procedures, adhering to relevant regulations and legislation, and participating in on-call duties as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes, following their individual care plans.
  • Work closely with care managers to develop and implement care plans, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and updated.
  • Supervise and support a team of care workers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  • Conduct regular assessments of clients' needs and make necessary adjustments to their care plans.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best possible care for clients.
  • Administer medication as prescribed and maintain accurate records.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a domiciliary care setting.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • A good understanding of relevant regulations and legislation.
  • A compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing needs and schedules.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable).
What We Offer

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as ongoing training and development opportunities.
