Cafe Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced cafe supervisor to join our team at New Hall school in Essex. As a cafe supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our small and warm cafe, providing great customer experiences, and serving high-quality coffee to our pupils and teachers.

The ideal candidate will have a background in exceptional food catering services, excellent presentation, organisational, and communication skills, and a real passion for food & service. You will be able to demonstrate a flexible approach to work, a can-do attitude, and a customer-focused mindset.

The role involves opening and closing the cafe, completing all company due diligence and food safety and health and safety standards, cooking fresh foods daily, and providing a hot and freshly prepared coffee to our customers. You will also be responsible for ordering and stock management, reporting to a manager daily, and looking at seasonal changes where required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the cafe
  • Provide great customer experiences
