We are seeking a Senior Maintenance Manager to lead our Responsive Maintenance division at Wates. This role will be based out of our Finsbury Park office, where you will oversee the management of small to large projects with contractors. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring high-quality service delivery through effective work scheduling and management of contractor performance.
  • Representing Wates at client and resident performance meetings, as requested by the Operations Manager.
  • Managing the responsive repairs function to achieve consistent performance against targets.
  • Effective management of material costs and ensuring adherence to company procedures and standards.
  • Monitoring quality of work through inspection reports, analysis of key performance indicators, and customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Leading and managing a team to determine optimum employment levels and contribute to the development of the team.

To succeed in this role, you must be an excellent communicator with problem-solving skills, the ability to multitask, and work under tight deadlines. Prior responsive maintenance experience is essential, and a minimum SSSTS qualification is required.
