Veterinary Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our night care team, providing exceptional medical care to inpatients. This role involves examination, creating care plans, and communicating with clients. A strong interest in medicine and inpatient care is essential.
This opportunity would suit recent graduates or experienced Vets looking for development opportunities with the support of more senior colleagues. Overseeing patient handovers to the night team is a key aspect of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine patients and create care plans
- Communicate with clients regarding patient care
- Liaise with other Vets in the team for imaging, investigative, or surgical procedures
- Oversee patient handovers to the night team
About the Role:
This position offers a unique chance to develop your skills in inpatient care and medicine. Our 24/7 Tier 3 Veterinary Hospital provides high-quality primary care services, including consultations, preventative healthcare, and referrals.
The successful candidate will be part of our dedicated ECC night team, working closely with other Vets to provide exceptional patient care.
Salary and Benefits:
This permanent, full-time role comes with a competitive salary of up to £60,000 per annum FTE, depending on experience. Additional benefits include RCVS & VDS fees paid, external CPD funded, and a comprehensive pension scheme.
