About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at Calder Vets in Dewsbury.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to take on a challenging role as a General Practitioner (GP) veterinary surgeon. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for medicine and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for examining patients, developing care plans, and communicating effectively with clients. They will also work closely with other veterinarians in the team to provide high-quality care and support.

In addition to their clinical skills, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

About Us

Calder Vets is a 24/7 Tier 3 Veterinary Hospital, providing a range of services including consultations, preventative healthcare, vaccinations, routine and non-routine surgery, dentistry, and imaging. We pride ourselves on delivering clinical excellence and putting client and patient care at the heart of everything we do.

We offer a competitive salary of up to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes RCVS and VDS fees paid, external CPD funded, and extensive free online Linnaeus CPD program.
