Senior Linux System Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Linux System Administrator to join our team at Prism Digital. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Linux-based server hosting infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement efficient server layouts and ensure the ongoing provision of space, power, and cooling for our hosted solutions.
  • Work with engineering and architecting teams to design solutions that maximize performance, efficiency, and operability of our hosted solutions.
  • Support all areas of hosted services, including participation on a 24x7 on-call rota and ensuring the timely resolution of incidents and/or problems affecting hosted solutions.
  • Deploy approved changes and/or updates as required.

Requirements:

  • Linux deployment and management experience with RHEL.
  • Server management and troubleshooting experience with Cisco UCS Blades physical servers.
  • Cisco and F5 networking deployment and management experience with Cisco Nexus 7000/9000, ASA Firewalls, and DNS load balancers.
  • Scripting skills (Shell, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Puppet used for Automation – any other experience is good i.e. Ansible, Chef.
  • VMware 6 deployment and management experience (100s of virtual servers).
