Prism Digital is a leading provider of mission-critical software solutions, serving clients in the healthcare, finance, and government sectors. With a global presence and a strong commitment to innovation, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Linux System Administrator to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Linux System Administrator to design, implement, and manage our server hosting infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Linux deployment and management, server management and troubleshooting, and networking deployment and management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cage, rack, and server layouts to ensure efficient use of space, power, and cooling.
  • Work with engineering and architecting teams to design solutions that maximize performance, efficiency, and operability of hosted solutions.
  • Support all areas of hosted services, including participation on a 24x7 on-call rota.
  • Lead deployment of new applications and changes, ensuring that all service components are well documented and monitored.
  • Hands-on administration and maintenance of hosted solutions and related infrastructure firewalls, switches, servers, and storage.
  • Provide technical support for all areas of hosted services, including participation on a 24x7 on-call rota.
  • Lead in the provisioning and deployment of server, network, and other hosting-related equipment, including hands-on building and configuration.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with Linux deployment and management, particularly with RHEL.
  • Server management and troubleshooting experience with Cisco UCS Blades physical servers.
  • Cisco and F5 networking deployment and management experience with Cisco Nexus 7000/9000, ASA Firewalls, and DNS load balancers.
  • VMware 6 deployment and management experience (100s of virtual servers).
  • Experience working with 'live' production environments.
