English Language Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and passionate English Language Specialist to join our vibrant department in Cambridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in the lives of young people.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring English lessons that cultivate a love of reading, writing, and communication. You will develop students' literacy skills, critical thinking, and creative expression, and contribute to the development of our curriculum to ensure it is stimulating and fosters a love for the English language.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality English lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote student engagement and motivation
- Assess and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the curriculum
- Contribute to the development of a supportive and inclusive school community
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English or a relevant subject
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for literature and the power of language
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A commitment to fostering a love of learning and encouraging students to find their voice
