Lead Medicine Registered Veterinary Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to lead our internal medicine, cardiology, and oncology teams in a multidisciplinary veterinary hospital in West London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care within internal medicine, oncology, and cardiology services.
  • Lead and guide the internal medicine, oncology, and cardiology teams to achieve the hospital's goals.
  • Maintain high hygiene standards and infection control.
  • Coordinate patient flow and case scheduling across departments.
  • Oversee inpatient care and implement nursing care plans.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained and serviced as needed.
  • Maintain effective communication within the teams.
  • Develop a skills matrix for nursing within the relevant services.
  • Support cat-friendly and dog-friendly standards throughout the hospital.
  • Use incident reporting tools to reflect on patient care improvements.
