Senior Care Professional

As a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care to our residents. Your primary focus will be to work collaboratively with the Care team to ensure the highest standards of personal care, creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for everyone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changes in their care needs and ensuring that these are met through amended care plans.
- Be involved in the person-centred care planning process, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
- Support residents with their medication requirements, ensuring adherence and safety.
- Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development where required, helping to build a strong and capable team.
- Act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals, ensuring that all concerns and requests are addressed in a timely and respectful manner.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to embody our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all your interactions. Our ideal candidate will:
- Hold an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
- Have at least 2 years' experience working in a similar care environment.
- Be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Have a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
- Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
