The Role

As the Chef Manager, you will be responsible for the operational and financial management of our school catering facilities. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality food and service while maintaining a flair for creativity and originality.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and developing a team of chefs and kitchen staff
  • Managing stock, food, and labor costs
  • Ensuring consistency of food and service standards
  • Driving sales through promotions and added-value events
  • Managing and improving controllable costs
  • Overseeing menu development
  • Maintaining company systems and procedures
  • Carrying out regular audits to ensure standards are being met
About You

We are looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service to our schools. The ideal candidate will have:

  • OND or HND qualification (desirable)
  • Craft-based experience using fresh ingredients
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices
  • Financial understanding of gross profit management and sales targets
  • Line management experience
  • Experience within a similar environment
