About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Railway Planning Coordinator to join our Rail team. You will work closely with the Planner to deliver allocated contracts, ensuring all works are planned to be undertaken safely and in accordance with XEIAD Policies and Procedures.

  • Develop and maintain Safe Work Packs in line with Network Rail Standard NR/L2/OHS/019
  • Coordinate with operational teams to book line blockages through the GZAM and Planning4Delivery external platforms
  • Ensure accurate logging of Safe Work Packs issued and returned, maintaining electronic copies of all returned packs
  • Foster effective communication with the Responsible Manager and operational teams on all planning matters
  • Support the weekly internal planning meetings to aid the Planner with the weekly route review
  • Manage the Safe Work Pack flow process, collaborating with contingent labour and other essential delivery suppliers
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigating measures through discussions with PICs and Responsible Managers
