Senior Design Engineer Opportunity

Talent Curve Recruitment is working with a leading engineering company based in Dungannon to find an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join their dynamic team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the design and development of innovative mechanical solutions for various projects, contributing to the company's continued success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of mechanical components and systems, from concept to production.
  • Produce detailed 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Oversee and guide the work of junior engineers and design staff, providing mentorship and technical support.
  • Conduct design reviews to ensure projects meet industry standards and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and project management, to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, testing, and validation of prototypes to ensure performance and reliability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other design tools.
