Job Title: Senior Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to join our team at The Electronics Group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing and interpreting pre-construction data and information to ensure project designs meet client specifications.
  • Developing design solutions and playing a central role in designing necessary mechanical equipment for power and process control.
  • Producing design deliverables, such as specifications, drawings, data sheets, and schedules, in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Ensuring design risk assessments and design solutions consider innovation, value engineering, safety, cost, and time constraints.
  • Providing technical support to pre-construction and project delivery teams, contributing to estimating, planning, and procurement functions.
  • Assisting in the identification and pre-qualification of subcontractors.
  • Participating in client meetings and coordinating with third-party contractors.
Requirements:
  • Electrical engineering qualification.
  • Proven track record of design delivery.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to diagnose problems and identify and recommend solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on initiative, as part of a team, and independently.
  • Ability to lead and motivate.
  • Ability to travel, plan, manage, and prioritize own workload.
  • Desirable: Previous experience working in the water industry.
