Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled construction operative to join our team. As a waterproofing specialist, you will be responsible for installing waterproofing systems, damp proofing systems, and timber treatments.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and manage materials and tools for projects
  2. Ensure punctuality and effective time management on site
  3. Install and apply waterproofing systems and damp proofing systems
  4. Conduct quality control checks
  5. Ensure health and safety compliance
  6. Report progress via app and communicate with the operative team and contracts department
  7. Demonstrate professionalism and respect towards clients and colleagues
  8. Show initiative and problem-solving skills on site
  9. Pay attention to detail and take pride in work
  10. Work independently and as part of a team
Requirements:
  • Current CSCS card
  • PASMA an advantage
  • First Aid an advantage
  • Asbestos awareness an advantage
  • Full UK Driving Licence
Essential Criteria:
  • Current CSCS Card
  • Previous construction and site experience
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Living within an accessible distance of Henley-on-Thames
Experience:
  • Previous construction and site experience
  • Understanding of construction sequencing
  • Experience of renovation projects an advantage
  • Basic carpentry an advantage
  • Basic plumbing an advantage
  • Basic electrical an advantage
  • Good Health & Safety awareness
Physical Requirements:

The role requires good general physical health, including the ability to load and unload materials manually. The candidate should occasionally be prepared to carry out preparatory work, including hacking off plaster, breaking up concrete, and digging sump chambers, channels when required, and on certain projects.
