Physiotherapy Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our dynamic Medical Respiratory Team at Hinchingbrooke Hospital. As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in assessing and treating patients with respiratory conditions, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and timely discharges.

Key Responsibilities- Provide specialized physiotherapy skills within the inpatient service to ensure safe, efficient, and effective patient care aligned with evidence-based practices and standards.
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, participating in service development projects, and autonomously assessing and treating complex cases.
- Support both inpatient and outpatient teams, including weekend work as needed, and provide clinical supervision to Band 5 and support staff.
We are looking for a Physiotherapist with:
- HCPC registration and a degree/diploma in Physiotherapy.
- Experience of working in an NHS Acute Hospital setting, with a variety of clinical experience throughout core hospital-based rotations.
- Minimum 4 months experience of working on an ITU and Respiratory wards, with Respiratory/On Call competency.
- Ability to demonstrate working with regional/national networks and experience of developing staff and sharing knowledge.
