Job Overview

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist to join our MSK Physiotherapy Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and supervision to our physiotherapy staff, as well as contributing to the development of our rehabilitation pathways.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to the MSK Physiotherapy Team
  • Manage your own independent caseload and work collaboratively with the team to ensure seamless and effective care
  • Contribute to the development of our rehabilitation pathways and work closely with our team leads and Advanced Practice Physiotherapists to deliver a high-quality service to our patients
  • Supervise and educate Band 5 and 6 physiotherapists, technical instructors, work experience students, and physiotherapy students
Requirements
  • Degree in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration
  • Substantial experience working as a senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist and experience of supervision and appraising staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Sound knowledge of physiotherapy in the relevant area and knowledge of clinical governance and its relevance to this clinical area
