Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Jonathan Lee Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of solutions to technical mechanical issues, reviewing and checking design work, and preparing reports with suggested recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of solutions to technical mechanical issues as a member of a project team, reporting to Technical Leads and directly to the customer.
- Review and check design work and technical reports, providing help and direction to less experienced mechanical engineers.
- Prepare reports with suggested recommendations to support the resolution of problems and the improvement of the mechanical engineering capability.
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline, or good experience within engineering.
- Experience writing and reviewing technical engineering reports and specifications.
- Design experience in a multi-disciplined, production and/or manufacturing environment, answering technical queries and non-conformance reports.
