Responsibilities

  • Leading and Supervising Your Shift: Oversee the daily activities of your team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Case Managing Residents: Work closely with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans that meet their unique needs.
  • Administering and Recording Medication: Safely administer medications as prescribed by medical professionals and maintain accurate records.
  • Carrying Out Risk Assessments: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate them.
  • Supporting Residents with Daily Needs: Assist residents with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, while promoting their independence and dignity.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care: Desired qualification for this role.
  • Good Organisation and IT Skills: Proficiency in using technology to manage tasks and communicate with colleagues.
  • A Good Understanding of Care Planning Processes: Knowledge of care planning principles and practices.
  • Experience in Administering Medication: Proven experience in safely administering medications.
