About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Safety Consultant to join our Project & Programme Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering building safety consultancy services to our clients, ensuring compliance with building regulations and associated legislation.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide building safety consultancy services to clients, including advising on building regulations compliance and delivering the Principal Designer function.
- Work with designers to review building regulations compliance in design and develop practical solutions in line with legislation and best practice.
- Undertake building regulation compliance audits and site inspections to ensure compliance is achieved.
- Review building regulation submission packages, undertake gap analysis reviews, and plan appraisals to identify any missing information required to secure building regulation approval.
- Potential to deliver building regulation compliance training (internal and external).
- Learn and apply quality assurance principles.
- Keep up to date and abreast of relevant legislative and best practice changes.
What We're Looking For
- Class 2/3 Registered Building Inspector (Not essential but must be able to demonstrate competence working on a range of building types and uses).
- Experience of PAS45001 and other integrated management systems.

Security Clearance
This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview.
