About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Surveyor to join our Project & Programme Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering building regulations compliance and ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Interpreting and applying the Building Regulations 2010 (As Amended) and associated secondary legislation.
- Delivering the Building Regulations Principal Designer function for clients.
- Reviewing building regulations compliance in design and developing practical solutions.
- Undertaking building regulation compliance audits and site inspections.
- Reviewing building regulation submission packages and identifying missing information.
- Potential to deliver building regulation compliance training.
- Keeping up to date with relevant legislative and best practice changes.
What We're Looking For
- Strong background in building regulations and associated secondary legislation.
- Sound technical building regulations knowledge combined with an understanding of design and construction.
- Excellent stakeholder facing skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to seek guidance from senior colleagues.
- Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other software packages.
- Professional manner and outlook.
- Ability to work concurrently on a portfolio of projects.
