Technical Estimator/Sales Support
Orion Electrotech Sales is seeking a skilled Technical Estimator/Sales Support to join their team. This role involves supporting the sales team with technical expertise, estimating projects, and designing ducted ventilation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply knowledge of air movement principles to support the product range, including extract fans and heat recovery systems.
- Interpret technical drawings and ensure compliance with industry regulations, including Building Regulations.
- Prepare accurate quotations and calculation sheets in response to customer inquiries.
- Provide technical product support to clients via email and phone, and attend client meetings when necessary.
- Support the external sales team by providing technical expertise.
- Generate monthly reports on quote pipelines, sales numbers, and conversions.
- Contribute to improving departmental efficiency and processes.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
- Willingness to learn and contribute to the ongoing development of the department.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and industry documents.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of ventilation or air movement technologies is a plus.
- A technical mindset with a passion for solving problems and improving processes.
