About the Role

As a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will play a vital role in delivering high standards of personal care to our residents. Your focus will be on supporting and working alongside the Care team to create a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for all.

Key Responsibilities

* Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, identifying any changes that may impact care and ensuring that new needs are met.
* Be involved in the person-centred care planning process, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating care plans monthly.
* Support residents with their medication requirements, ensuring accurate administration and recording.
* Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development where required.
* Act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, and visitors, ensuring that any reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do. Our ideal candidate will have:
* An NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
* 2 years' experience working in a similar care environment.
* The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* A positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
* A responsive and flexible approach to cover a range of responsibilities.
