As a Senior Project Risk Manager within Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks' Large Capital Project Services team, you will be responsible for providing independent assurance services to inform investment decisions and manage the performance of large capital projects throughout their lifecycle.

About the Opportunity

This permanent full-time position offers a competitive salary of £80,000 per annum, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including 34 days' annual leave entitlement, enhanced maternity/paternity leave, and discounted healthcare.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience of delivering capital projects in a utility, oil and gas, or process environment, as well as a strong track record in at least one key project skillset. They will also possess excellent interpersonal and presentational skills, able to communicate effectively and work efficiently to achieve tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead assurance reviews to ensure large capital projects are set up for success
  2. Review and update the Large Capital Projects Governance Framework
  3. Maintain the integrity of the project governance framework by identifying and mitigating risks
  4. Deliver governance framework induction workshops to support consistent application
