About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Geotechnical Project Engineer to join our team at Gardline Group. As a Graduate Geotechnical Project Engineer, you will play a key role in carrying out office and offshore geotechnical activities, ensuring high-quality data and sample collection, management, and interpretation of results.

Your Responsibilities

  • Collect and manage high-quality geotechnical data and samples, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Assist with geotechnical laboratory schedules, specifications, and reporting, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide technical assistance to ongoing offshore projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Acquire and process high-quality CPTu & SCPTu geotechnical data, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
  • Undertake basic offshore laboratory testing and soil and rock logging, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Perform computerized data processing and prepare results in accordance with industry standards and in-house practices.
  • Compile field geotechnical reports offshore, ensuring clear and concise communication.
  • Assist in compilation of factual/engineering geotechnical reports onshore, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Your Qualifications

  • A minimum BSc or equivalent degree in Earth Sciences or Civil Engineering, with a strong foundation in geotechnical principles.
  • Work experience in the geotechnical industry, with a focus on data collection, management, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to travel, with a valid passport and driving license.
