Position Overview

Join our team as a Junior Geotechnical Project Engineer and contribute to impactful geotechnical projects.

In this role, you will engage in both office-based and offshore geotechnical operations, adhering to industry standards and Gardline's core principles. Your work will involve the meticulous collection of data and samples, alongside the management and analysis of results, culminating in detailed geotechnical factual reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-quality data collection and sample management, ensuring accurate interpretation of results for comprehensive geotechnical factual reporting.
  • Support geotechnical laboratory schedules, specifications, and reporting processes.
  • Provide technical support for ongoing offshore projects.
  • Gather and process high-quality CPTu & SCPTu geotechnical data.
  • Perform basic offshore laboratory testing and logging of soil and rock samples.
  • Execute computerized data processing and prepare results in alignment with industry standards and internal practices.
  • Compile field geotechnical reports from offshore activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of factual and engineering geotechnical reports onshore.

Qualifications:
To excel as a Junior Geotechnical Project Engineer, you should possess:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Earth Sciences or Civil Engineering.
  • Relevant work experience in the geotechnical field.
  • Proficiency in report writing and data quality control.
  • Effective communication skills, fostering an environment of constructive feedback.
  • Willingness to travel, with a valid passport and driving license.
