Job Title: Graduate Geotechnical Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Geotechnical Project Engineer to join our team at Gardline. As a Graduate Geotechnical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out office and offshore geotechnical activities in line with industry-accepted standards and Gardline principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and manage high-quality geotechnical data and samples, and interpret results to collate findings in comprehensive geotechnical reports.
  • Assist with geotechnical laboratory schedules, specifications, and reporting.
  • Provide technical assistance to ongoing offshore projects.
  • Acquire and process high-quality CPTu & SCPTu geotechnical data.
  • Undertake basic offshore laboratory testing and soil and rock logging.
  • Perform computerized data processing and prepare results in accordance with industry standards and in-house practices.
  • Compile field geotechnical reports offshore.
  • Assist in compilation of factual/engineering geotechnical reports onshore.
Requirements:
  • A minimum BSc or equivalent degree with a specialism in Earth Sciences or Civil Engineering.
  • Work experience in this industry.
  • Experience in reporting writing and quality control of data.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to travel.
