Special Education Needs Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SENCO to join our team at a lovely Primary school in Lambeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the strategic development of the SEN policy and working closely with a team of LSAs to best support the needs of students.
About the Role:- Develop and implement effective SEN policies and procedures to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
- Work closely with the senior leadership team to ensure that the needs of students with special educational needs are met.
- Lead and manage a team of LSAs to provide high-quality support to students with special educational needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans for students with special educational needs.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SEN provision and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:- Hold a recognised full teaching qualification such as QTS.
- Hold a recognised SENCO qualification.
- Have an understanding of alternative and therapeutic interventions for student progression.
- Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills.
- An energetic and enthusiastic 'can do' attitude.
- A friendly and professional manner.
