Job Title: Junior Merchandiser - High End Interiors

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Junior Merchandiser to join our team in South West England. As a Junior Merchandiser, you will play a key role in supporting the buying team in planning for stock intake and sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage stock intake and chase related documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor stock levels and report real and potential requirements to stakeholders.
  • Place orders and communicate with suppliers, updating systems with delivery dates and relevant supplier information.
  • Ensure 96% and above availability rates.
  • Chase suppliers and service providers to ensure stock is received as scheduled.
  • Manage supplier relationships, costings, and pricing.
  • Produce weekly reports highlighting potential missed sales orders, delays, and duplicates.
  • Monitor critical path to ensure all intake dates are met.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis as required by the Management team.

Requirements:

We are looking for a self-starter with good negotiation skills and the ability to ensure departmental policies are followed. The successful candidate will provide prompt, efficient, and personalized service to internal and external customers and build productive relationships.
