Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a salary from £24,793 to 26,083 per annum, plus potential additions for sleep-ins.

This role also offers additional benefits, including enhanced DBS coverage, comprehensive induction and training, and a rota provided 4 weeks in advance.

About the Role

As a Young Person Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in establishing meaningful relationships with young people and creating a positive, warm, and rewarding environment.

You will provide emotional support during challenging times, foster ambition, and assist in achieving goals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualised support to young people, promoting their independence and well-being.">
  • Support young people in their educational pursuits and life skills development.">
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for planning meetings and reviews.">
  • Act as an advocate in meetings where the young person is the subject of discussion.">

Requirements

No prior experience is necessary, but a commitment to working with young people is essential.

A minimum age requirement of 21 years old and full UK driving license are preferable.

Attendance at a 2-week training program is required, and availability for sleep-in shifts is necessary.
