Automotive Technologist

Expleo Group UK Jobs is seeking an experienced Automotive Technologist to join our Connected Car & Navigation team. As a key player in the test and development of future vehicles, you will work within a dedicated team of development technicians and engineers on an ongoing contract basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation, building, and maintenance of vehicles or components for test, as well as instrumentation set-up, testing in static and dynamic conditions, and gathering accurate test data.

• We are looking for someone with City & Guilds / IMI / NVQ Level 3 or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automotive Engineering
• A strong background in automotive electrical and electronic test experience relating to HMI, navigation, infotainment, or mobile phone applications is required
• Equivalent experience on a major testing program (e.g. aerospace, telecoms) would be beneficial
• Proficiency in vehicle system knowledge with fault-finding ability is essential
• Understanding of component measurement techniques and test / diagnostic experience are also required
• Data analysis and report writing skills are necessary
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel

A competitive salary between £35,000 - £45,000 per annum based on location and experience is on offer
