Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Older Adult Psychiatry Consultant to join our team in NHS Highland. The successful candidate will provide consultant input to community teams, covering primary and organic mental disorders, and will be based at the New Craigs Hospital site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consultant input to community teams, covering primary and organic mental disorders
  • Develop a flexible job plan, with opportunities for special interests in community, inpatient, liaison, or young onset dementia services
  • Participate in CPD and peer supervision, and contribute to a cohesive and collegiate group of clinicians
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Older Adult Psychiatry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. They will also have a flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
