Customer Service Representative

As a Retail Customer Service Manager at Entain, you will be the face of our brand, delivering top-notch customer service and driving standards on a daily basis. In our dynamic betting shops, no two days are the same, and you'll have the chance to contribute to a team that wins together and does what's right by our customers.
Reporting to the Shop Manager, you will be part of the Shop team, serving customers and building a rapport to encourage repeat custom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring every customer leaves with a positive experience.
- Urging safer gambling practices and promoting responsible betting habits.
- Take bets on a wide range of sports and events, providing expert knowledge and guidance.
- Process customer transactions, including cash handling, with accuracy and efficiency.
- Help demonstrate our products and betting terminals to customers, showcasing their features and benefits.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with empathy and problem-solving skills, resolving issues promptly and fairly.
- Work towards defined targets and goals, driving sales and revenue growth.
- Maintain high shop standards, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers.
- Open or close the shop as needed, taking on additional responsibilities as required.
Working Patterns:
Our shops can be open from Monday to Sunday, 8am to 10pm, depending on the location. This includes weekends and bank holidays. Your typical weekly rota will be a blend of long opening shifts, long closing shifts, and shorter evening shifts, varying week to week. As a key holder, you will be responsible for opening and closing the shop.
At Entain, we believe in a healthy work-life balance, providing you with your rota at least four weeks in advance.
Requirements:
- You must be 18 years of age or over to work in one of our betting shops.
- Passion for delivering great customer service and building strong relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a can-do attitude.
- Ability to deal with challenging situations in a calm and professional manner.
