About the Role

The Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is recruiting a Children's Cancer Care Coordinator to join their dedicated team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of the multidisciplinary oncology team, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless coordination of care for children and young people with cancer.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with colleagues in the multidisciplinary oncology team at Regional Oncology Treatment Centres, maintaining close contacts with identified children and young people on the caseload, expanding knowledge and practice in the field of oncology, attending weekly MDT meetings, and acting as a resource for paediatric palliative care.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience equivalent to and/or completion of a Paediatric Oncology Course.
  • Ability to maintain close contacts with identified children and young people on the caseload.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Children's Nurse to develop their skills and expertise in paediatric oncology, while making a meaningful contribution to the delivery of high-quality care for children and young people with cancer.
