Job Opportunity: A leading Civil Engineering and Rail Infrastructure Main Contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator for a permanent position near Glasgow.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator looking to continue their professional development and hone their skills and experience in a rail and civil engineering project environment.

The role will be a blend of both a Quantity Surveyor and Estimating role working on a long-term, secure framework.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing tender and contract documents, including performing risk, value management and cost control;

Working on civil engineering and rail infrastructure projects, you will also be responsible for managing costs from inception to completion to minimise cost and maximise value for money.

The ideal candidate will be degree-qualified, with at least an HNC in Quantity Surveying;

Experience in rail infrastructure, although any civil engineering background will be considered;

At least 3+ years' post-graduate experience in Quantity Surveying;

The works are fast-paced and high in volume, requiring an experienced commercial candidate with the ability to handle works in this type of fast-paced environment.
