About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team at Vistry Group. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Site Manager in the day-to-day control of the site, ensuring that all construction activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Manage and deliver project works, including the coordination of sub-contractors and suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain detailed plans and schedules to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with internal and external design teams to ensure that projects meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues that may impact the project timeline or budget.
Requirements
  • SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, and Scaffold inspection qualification.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of construction project management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
