Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Pharmacy Support Officer to join our Homecare team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support in the processing of prescriptions and invoices for our patients with chronic long-term conditions.

The successful candidate will have excellent technical knowledge and skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also possess strong communication skills and be able to build positive relationships with patients, clinical teams, and homecare providers.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £27,000-£33,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including access to our occupational health services, comprehensive pension scheme, and staff discounts on shopping and leisure options.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide technical support to the Homecare team in the processing of prescriptions and invoices
* Participate in order processing, matching invoices and credit notes, and ensuring prices charged are correct
* Investigate discrepancies/non-compliance with homecare deliveries and record errors
* Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and invoices passed to the pharmacy finance team
* Build positive relationships with patients, clinical teams, and homecare providers
