About the Role

We are seeking experienced SEN Teachers or Tutors to support learners in Lydney. As a managed education service, we remain responsible for the management and quality of education provided to each of our learners. Our collaborative approach ensures tutors feel safe and supported as part of a team and our learners feel heard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver tuition to young people with SEN, including ASD/ASC, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Work closely with our team to assess and maintain effective and needs-based programmes of education support
  • Commit to an agreed and fixed timetable for at least a whole academic term
  • Travel to learners' locations within the community during the daytime
Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree or strong youth work experience/qualification
  • Minimum 2 years teaching or mentoring learners with SEND in schools, youth groups, or private settings
  • Enhanced DBS on the DBS Update system or willingness to have one carried out at a cost of £53.20
  • Secure understanding of safeguarding
